Facebook and Instagram revenue

Meta subsidiaries Facebook and Instagram will not share their revenue from content creators on their platforms until 2024, before Meta said the company will not receive its stake from creators' revenue until 2023.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced monetization updates regarding Facebook and Instagram in a post.

According to the Post, creators make money on the platform in fan subscriptions, paid events, badges and other ways, and these companies are opening more avenues to make money for creators to lure them away from tik tok.

With the help of a new feature, creators on Facebook who have subscribers on other platforms will be able to give subscriber only groups access to these fans.

Zuckerberg also announced that creators would be eligible for monetization programs such as cash bonuses for creating popular reels.

The reels bonus program will be launched soon for more users on Facebook and creators will be able to monetize Instagram videos posted on Facebook.
